8th İSTANBUL PUBLISHING FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Turkey's largest program in the field of publishing, the International Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Program, was held for the eighth time this year. 410 publishers from 66 countries participated in the meeting.

The International Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Program, organized by the Turkish Printing and Publishing Professional Association (TBYM) with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the support of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, DEKMEB and the Press and Publication Union Association, was held on June 6-8, 2023 at the Rami Library in Istanbul.

In the event, which lasted for 3 days in a historical venue, important agreements were signed after bilateral meetings between publishers from all corners of the world.

7th ISTANBUL PUBLISHING FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The 7th International Istanbul Publishing Professional Meetings' "Istanbul Publishing Fellowship" Program, organized for the 7th time by the Turkish Press and Publishers Professional Association with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and under the auspices of Istanbul Governorship, supported by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Publishers Professional Associations, DEKMEB and Press and Publishers Association, was held at Grand Cevahir Hotel on 08-09-10 March 2022.

The 7th Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Program, which makes a significant contribution to the publishing industry, brought together publishers from all corners of the world from Far Asia to Latin America, from Northern Europe to Africa in Istanbul for copyright and translation negotiations. 1,104 publishers from a total of 105 countries applied to the program.   After the evaluation of the Fellowship Coordination Board, 555 professional publishers from 72 countries were accepted to the program.

6th ISTANBUL PUBLISHING FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The 6th "International Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Program", organized by the Turkish Press and Publishers Professional Association with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the support of the Governorship of Istanbul and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, was held on 09-10-11 March 2021 at Grand Cevahir Hotel.

The program, which brings foreign publishers to Istanbul every year to hold copyright and translation negotiations, was held in a hybrid model this year, taking into account the pandemic conditions, and both online meetings were held in the organization and physical meetings were held with a limited number of participants where health conditions were provided.

The program, of which Anadolu Agency is the Global Communication Partner and TRT is the Communication Sponsor, received 869 applications from 120 countries this year, while 345 publishers from 60 countries were accepted as a result of the evaluation made by the Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Coordination Board.

5th ISTANBUL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The fifth of the "International Istanbul Fellowship Program", organized by the Turkish Press and Publishers Association and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which enabled many national and international publishers to come together, was held on 03-04-05 March 2020 at Grand Cevahir Hotel.

The Turkish Press and Publishers Professional Association hosted publishing house representatives, agencies and editors from all over the world throughout the organization, and more than a thousand preliminary agreements were made with Turkish and foreign publishers over the course of 3 days.

The opening ceremony of the Program, which aims to introduce Turkish literature to the world as well as making Istanbul a copyright center, was held at Grand Cevahir Hotel on Tuesday, March 03.

4th ISTANBUL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The fourth edition of the "International Istanbul Copyright Summit (Istanbul Fellowship Program)", which was designed by the Turkish Press and Publishers Professional Association and organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, was held on 26-27-28 February 2019 at the Eurasia Show and Art Center.

The organization, which took place at the Eurasia Show and Art Center, brought the publishing world to Istanbul. The program, which grows by increasing the number of participants every year, achieved record participation this year. The Turkish Press and Publishers Professional Association hosted publishing house representatives, agencies and editors from all over the world for 3 days.
