1st İstanbul Publishing Fellowship Program in 2016
First İstanbul Publishing Fellowship Program took place in 3 – 8 March 2016 with 17 participants from 9 different countries. These 17 participants were separated into three groups based on publication types such as “child books publishers”, “cultural and literature books publishers” and “classic, academic and foreign language learning books publishers”.
17 rooms were booked in a 5 stars hotel in Sultanahmet region and our participants stayed for 6 days. Hosts or hostess’ left in charge for each participant. In addition, six days transportation service is provided in order to ensure that participants’ access to programs and hotel.
During the program which started with the opening lunch, activities like a tour in fair area, meetings with Turkish Publishers and foreigner participants, presentation about TEDA Grant were performed.
Totally 175 books’ rights exchanged in the end of the 1st İstanbul Publishing Fellowship Program took place in 2016.
