Over a thousand copyright agreements were signed at the Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Program

Organized by the Turkish Press and Publishers Copyright & Licensing Society (TBYM) with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and serving as the Global Communication Partner of the Anadolu Agency, the "8th International Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Program" witnessed the signing of over a thousand preliminary agreements.

With the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the Copyright and Licensing Professional Association (DEKMEB), and the support of the Albayrak Group, the event took place at the Rami Library, hosting both domestic and foreign publishers.

The event aimed to establish Istanbul as a brand in the publishing world and make it one of the world's major copyright markets. A total of 214 publishers from 37 countries participated physically, while 196 publishers from 55 countries joined online.

The event, organized by Introtema Copyright and Translation Agency with the goal of increasing diversity in the publishing sector, saw nearly 2,500 copyright discussions held and over a thousand preliminary agreements signed.

By providing an opportunity for publishers from around the world, spanning from Asia to Latin America, from Northern Europe to Africa, to conduct business in Turkey and promote copyright sales, these agreements contribute to the strengthening of the sector and the growth of exports.
